TinSorb™ EHT is effective at low use concentrations to achieve high SPF and can be incorporated into most types of formulations. The high molecular weight of this UV filter allows it to provide better surface coverage on skin. TinSorb™ EHT is particularly suitable for water-resistant products since it is substantive on skin, and can therefore improve water-resistance of formulations.
TinSorb™ EHT is an oil-soluble powder which should be completely solubilized in the oil phase of formulations. This can be achieved by using polar emollients or other UV filters, such as Isopropyl C12-15 Pareth-9 Carboxylate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate or Cocoglycerides, among others.
