TinSorb™ 1360 is used in dyes and pharmaceutical intermediates. It is used for the production of reactive red M-80, M-10B, reactive red purple X-2R, and other dyes, as well as for the preparation of cyanobenzoic acid to produce the drug p-carboxybenzylamine. Para-aminobenzoic acid can be used as a sunscreen, and its derivative, octyl dimethylcarbamate, is an excellent sunscreen.
