PowerNox™ 616 is an excellent non-discoloring, non-staining phenolic acid antioxidant, possessing high activity and low volatility. PowerNox™ 616 stabilizer is highly recommended for the protection of isoprene and butadiene-based polymers.
PowerNox™ 616 is also recommended for the stabilization of natural rubber and latex, SBR and caboxylated SBR latices, ABS, ASA, MBS, SBS, SIS, CR, NBR, BR and for tackifiers, adhesives and sealants.
PowerNox™ 616 is highly resistant to extraction by washing and boiling making it especially suitable for use in rubber threads and latex for carpet backing and foams. PowerNox™ 616 can be prepared as an aqueous dispersion for easier handling and addition to water-based systems.
